ArtPrize 2011

ArtPrize™ is an experimental art competition based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and open to anybody to enter anything they see as art. The actual contest is not the motivation to partake for me, but the huge audience is. So to make these paintings with the patrons all around me was an amazing challenge.

 

 

All the paintings were painted with paint donated by Repcolite Paints™, based in Holland, Michigan. Without their generous donations, I would have not been able to have made these paintings. I suggest everybody buy 100 cans of paint from them. These photographs were taken by B.
