Portraits

Here are somee of my portraits done for clients over the years. If you would like a portrait done of anybody, please consider the following points.

Have a good photograph taken. Preferably 8 by 10 inch color photographs.[singlepic id=866 w=320 h=240 float=right]
Give 6 to 8 weeks for the portrait to be completed. Detail and hours spent painting are of the same equation.
Be specific on the touches added. Like a preferred environment around the subject or an animal they love.
Be ready to spend a little extra money on a nice painting. Portraits are cherished by families for generations. I prefer my best work to last, and portraits are almost eternal. I will put the best work I can on every painting.
Decide on the medium and style you want. Oils are classic and rich in texture. Acrylics are colorful and modern. Both can pack a punch in impression and are equally beautiful. Acrylics are a faster medium to complete, but oils can double the time. If you choose an oil painting, please allow three more weeks for delivery.
